STEVEN Warren netted this magnificent 22-12-0 common carp, which was in mint condition, on his first visit to Dimmocks Pit.

He’d spotted the fish among the weeds and tempted it with a boilie on the bottom and was highly delighted with his capture.

A newcomer to the city, it was only his second outing on an MKAA card – the first having been to Furzton – so his average is pretty good for the moment.
