Wappenham Water - the first commercial day ticket water to come under MKAA management.

Built as a farm reservoir well over a decade ago, it has since been stocked and matured as a fishery and now holds a superb head of carp, roach, bream and some crucians too.  The lake is some 3.5 acres, depths vary from 3 feet to 15 or so.  There are some 20 superbly built comfortable pegs, a mown path all round and a road side car park just 50 yards walk from the water (also known locally as Silver Lake).

Added to the quality of the fishing is the quality of the location.  A superb quiet rural location well away from the hustle and bustle of today's busy life.

The carp range from a couple of pound up to 18, may be more and will take most baits.  The silver fish can give a good days sport as well again they will take most baits giving a great net full.

Please look after the fish stock so no more that 40lb of fish in a net at any one time, also no carp over 5lb to be kept either.

Location is at 462977E 245578N (N52:06:18 W1:04:55)
