City Ouzel

The superb Ouzel is well blessed with fish and it also produces the odd barbel.  MKAA now has fishing access to Sparkes Meadow (see map below) south of Bletchley, plus the left hand bank (looking down stream) all the way through Milton Keynes to the V4 Watling Street.  It's both banks alongside Caldecotte Lake from the A5 dual carriageway through to the Simpson Road, left hand bank from there (except in signed NO FISHING conservation areas) through to H5 Portway (along side Willen Lakes).  Then its both banks until V11 Tongwell Street, Left hand bank down to the M1 Motorway and then Right hand bank for one filed downstream of the Motorway.  Baits, well use worm, corn, bread flake, maggots......
