Canal
Approx 9 miles (bridges
68 to 76 and 81
to 102) fish from towpath side ONLY. The towpath side is the East Bank. Carp to 30 plus, pike over 20 and all normal species.
A scattering of exceptional tench, perch, rudd and roach.
New for 2004 is the stretch
from the Proud Perch Bridge at Linford North right through to the Galleon Bridge
at Old Wolverton. This was formally leased by the C.I.U. and well known to match
and specimen anglers as being very productive waters and its now on your MKAA
ticket.
The 37lb Carp that recently smashed
MKAA Carp record was pulled from the canal near bridge number............
Its last FIVE Nationals failed to
produce a single dry net!
Take particular care not to disturb
residents of boats on far bank at The Boatyard. Don't hit boats with ground-bait,
loose feed or tackle.
