MKAA Organised Fishing

MKAA has several active groups, Juniors, Ladies and an active Matchgroup are very successful.  If you are interested in joining any of these groups then get in contact and join in.

Junior Match Fishing

We have entered a junior and intermediate team into several competitions this year, and under the leadership of Ian Greenhood they have been very successful. Junior / Youth Coaching Sessions

Our NFA approved fishing coach Nuala Gray continues to run highly successful coaching sessions with juniors.  These sessions are open for those aged 5 to 15 years; under 12's must be accompanied by an adult at all times.  Details are below but for more information either ring Nuala on 01908 320007 (after 4pm) or email info@mkaa.co.uk.   The sessions this year will be more varied with coaching on using whips, waggler's, feeders and some friendly matches.

Junior / Youth Fishing Coaching Sessions 2008/9 Season

  • Each session starts at 1 o’clock.

  • Age limits 5 to 15 years.

  • Each child under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an Adult for the whole session.

  • Finishes at 4 o’clock.  If over 12 years old please ensure your child is picked up promptly at 4 pm.

  • All equipment and bait will be supplied, with thanks to Gon Fishin and the Environment Agency, all you need to do is turn up.

  • A fee of £5.00 is chargeable on the day.

Ladies Section

MKAA Ladies Section are and enthusiastic and very accomplished group, with at-least one England International in their ranks.

If you are a member of the fairer sex and want to fish with a great group then our ladies section will make you very welcome you no matter what your skill level.  If you would like to join them then contact us and we will get back to you.

Matchgroup

Milton Keynes Angling Associations Matchgroup  who are sponsored by both Sensas  and MKAA are in the NFA National Division 1.

The Matchgroup provides Association match anglers with the best opportunities and the Association with the best possible representation.
